Lourdés Zamora is a Costa Rican - American actress, filmmaker, soprano, and producer. Best known for her weekly comedy cabaret show Nightcap! at Alan Cumming’s Club Cumming and various other live show productions throughout the years, she began as a standup comedian before finding a specialty in cabaret comedy and improvisational stylings since 2017. Her comedy performance work is created through the practice of free association, often dealing with surrealism and absurdism. In recent years she made her off-Broadway debut with her first one-woman solo show, Whatta Gal!, at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre in New York's West Village area, as well as The Upright Citizens Brigade Hell’s Kitchen stage, composed by Dylan Adler and directed by Lilla Crawford.

She has trained at The Upright Citizens Brigade in improv and sketch comedy since 2018, is a regular improv performer at Brooklyn Comedy Collective, has trained at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute since 2021, notably taking on roles such as Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Martha (Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?), Cordelia (King Lear), and Vanda (Venus in Fur), and has been a student of operatic soprano Karen Nimereala since 2023. Lourdés cites her showgirl beginnings at Club Cumming as a formative training ground for where she learned to be on stage.
